Partners

There are five core partners in the Surrey Music Hub: Surrey Arts, all Surrey Schools, Rhythmix, The Yehudi Menuhin School and Arts Partnership Surrey.

Surrey Arts – Music, the county council’s music service and the lead partner for the hub.
Responsible for overall management and co-ordination of the hub.

Primary, secondary and special schools
Who will be key to shaping the development of the Hub to the needs of the children and young people they work with, and letting us know how we’re doing.

Arts Partnership Surrey
The partnership of district, borough and county councils, who will ensure our work links with the arts plans, priorities and activities of local authorities in Surrey.
Current hub activities: evaluating a successful Singing Surrey Project which developed community choirs and assisting the hub in commissioning work to develop a singing strategy which will involve schools and community partners.

Yehudi Menuhin School.
The school for musically gifted children and young people, founded by renowned violinist and conductor Lord Yehudi Menuhin.
Current hub activities: composition projects for GCSE students to help them achieve excellent results. They will also be sending younger members of the school to perform in local schools 

As always, we’ll be working with many others, according to what’s needed.

There are also a growing number of associate partners. These organisations are committed to working with the Surrey Music Hub to offer the best possible music education and experience to the young people of Surrey.
