Music Production – Introduction to Sequencer and Composition

Come and learn music production with Surrey Arts in this two part workshop! 

Students will be learning how to use digital audio workstations and they will produce and compose music in a genre of their choice. Full instruction will be given in using a sequencer and programming beats, synths and loops in music styles such as Drum & Bass, House / EDM, Grime, Hip Hop, Drill, Trap and Afrobeat.

Requirements for workshops

What you’ll need to take part in Surrey Arts’ Music Tech classes: 

A decent internet connection. An up/download speed of around 1.2 Mbps (megabits per second) will suffice. Slower connections will still work, but you may find your video / audio could distort during the class, due to slow data transfer rates.
