This is a practical session for teachers/practitioners who are looking for some easy ideas and song arrangements that a group/class can play where schools are looking for ‘COVID-aware’ music lessons.  There will be options for singing and how to add easy and effective percussion parts so children with mixed abilities can all join in.  Explore a selection of songs that can be played in small groups or whole class music sessions. Includes basic ukulele parts – both picking and strumming, how TAB works so children can draw their own parts simply. How to improvise and create textures in songs by playing a limited set of notes, solo-ing and composing/songwriting using ukuleles.
